Holistic Self Development Practioner

Hello! My name is Katy and I am an Austin native specializing in self development and self discovery coaching. With a background ranging from public policy, holistic nutrition, crisis intervention, feminist theory, social justice, herbalism, hypnotherapy, holistic wellness, and energy processing, I hold and utilize a unique set of skills to support my clients on their own path to professional advancement and personal fulfillment.

Throughout my own journey, I have come to realize that so much of the wellness industry is based on the notion that you must fix, heal, improve and better yourself, in order to achieve personal success. Although well intentioned, the advice we often receive is more aligned with not being good enough rather than embracing who we are at our core. My biggest call to the work I do is to dismantle the thought and approach that we must improve ourselves in order to succeed. Creating changes and allowing shifts can be beneficial, as long as those shifts are aligned with who we are and what we truly want. In order to understand what shifts are necessary, we must first understand ourselves, at our core.

I chose coaching because I love creating solutions, supporting growth and witnessing the success my clients experience through taking ownership of their own life path.  The approach I have created is from years of experience, training, my own self exploration and hard work.

“My work isn’t for everyone. It is for individuals who are ready to walk into the unknown and approach life in a new way. Although I have a lot of tools, techniques, education and resources, I am not in the practice of fixing. I love to help individuals on their own journey, learning to trust themselves and listen to their own inner wisdom; allowing their intuition to guide them forward.”

“I feel the most proud when I see my clients succeeding in their careers and finding fulfillment in their personal lives. Growth that is rooted in inner wisdom may take longer, it may not look like what we are taught growth is supposed to look like, but it is real and lasting. This is not quick fix work, there are no tricks or perfect plans, you actually hold the answers to your own path, you may have just forgotten how to listen to yourself.”
